Oh man, you can't make this shit up. This lady decided to sue the guy who insulted the killer from his balcony because he supposedly pushed him to shoot more people than he otherwise would have. Facepalm

Lady? The article say its unknown yet.
Anyhow, this is stupid beyond imagination. Here we have a guy who spoke up against a crazy killer, keeping him tied up in conversation, and demonstrably irritating him....and he gets sued.

Did you watch the video? She claims to be the person that the media is talking about.

Well, I listened to it. She is suing the guy who kept yelling insults at the shooter. But she really wants to sue the people who bullied the shooter way earlier. She wants to mount a fight against bullying and holds bullies legally responsible for the consequences of their actions. She wants to set precedence for the prosecution of bullies.

That makes it quite different than just suing someone over insults.

If that becomes a precedence it makes a shift away from personal accountability , stupid and dangerous.

That would be a bad thing.

Bullying should probably be criminalized in some way though. Increasingly it emerges as a factor in shootings.

There should be a hotline. Former bullies get to call in apologies.

I empathize with bullied people , children especially , and bullying should be penalized and stopped but with a clear rules so it doesn`t become a farce of safe spaces and a way to interfere with normal children behavior.
Yet, actions of the bullied person can not be blamed on the bullies and bullying can not be used as an excuse for the actions of a bullied person.
