Because why?

No spelling mistakes, no passive aggression... an assertion certainly but one that implies a question worth debating rather than just an assertion designed to raise hackles.

Yes but - if it was normal to see people naked, it would not hold the same connotations. Maybe that twerp wouldn't feel motivated to stand too close - there is no shock value in it then, nothing special, he's been looking at naked people all day and all week and all month...

Connotations or no connotations, it would still be majorly unpleasant. Of course, I just don't like people in my personal space, clothed or not. And there are some things I prefer not to see...

Kidding aside, I agree with what you're saying, but I kinda prefer to have a thing or two on when it's below zero outside

Yep. The man who lives behind my MIL is a self proclaimed nudist. He lived on a street with lots of kids and families...The families complained he walk to the mailbox (by the sidewalk) with his willie hanging out...Police were called -- families were told there is NO law against public nudity in OR. therefore it's not illegal. It was in the papers...His niece was living with him at the time and was 17 (also would walk around nude).

My mil got so tired of seeing him out on his deck "sunbathing" that she bought some big stained glass and had my husband put in that window so she wouldn't see him...

Yes, she tried pointing and laughing...he was not deterred. The family next-door to him had a pool they couldn't use. The past couple summer's have been a bit on cooler side -- and last I saw he was trying to sell his house.


There was another time we all went downtown to the big Saturday Market in portland -- guess there was a thing going on...some sort of protest for something but all these women were walking around topless.

Honestly not a one had a decent rack so I guess it wasn't offensive.

Edited to add: While giving my oldest son a lift to school we talked about this and I reminded him about the ugly naked dude and the women at the Saturday Market. He laughed saying he remembered it...and further added it might as well be illegal here since the only people who take advantage of the lack of law are people who really shouldn't.
