RE: Should men be forced to pay child support?
Should society not teach marriage as an absolute, and teach kids to value their own desires? Should society pay livable wages?

Maybe parents would not be under the government thumb when it comes to kids if the adults would teach them to accept their own comfort levels and abilities instead of forcing absolutes on them.

If the risk of responsibility (pregnancy) was too high, don't have sex.

There is a moment a choice is made (except in cases of rape) that you are ok with the possible outcome of pregnancy.

Yes i understand your point but even when you use condom to minimaze the possibilities sometimes pregnancy sometimes still occurs and in this case a woman have a way out by means of abortion. This is the only reason i mentioned abortion in the first place. Personally i am pro-choice so i am not attacking women i just thing that man since they can't have this cop out (its a womans body and choice) they can atleast not have to pay for their mistake all their lifes!

The man is just as responsible as the woman. If you don't want to take the risk, finish on her tits.

No birth control method ( pills, condoms, IUD, etc) is 100% effective.

It's why many teens are told to use TWO forms of birth control.

Minimize risk doesn't mean eliminating risk.

If a woman that doesn't want her child after birth, but the father does and takes the child himself not equate to the actual comparison?

Should and in cases does she have to pay child support?

RE: Should men be forced to pay child support?
The fact that women can choose to terminate and essentially eliminate her responsibility and men don't have that option is really just a biological difference. It's an 'after the fact' choice.

The moment that "responsibility" was agreed upon was at the moment you both decided to have sex. It was at that moment when the reward was worth the risk.

But honestly, STDs are scarier than a pregnancy.
