Shrine at Lourdes flooded
The "holy" shrine of the grotto of the "Virgin Mary" at Lourdes suffered serious flooding recently :

This place is supposed to cure invalids through miracles, but couldn't even keep out some rain water. How come the priests etc. aren't now shruging and saying "oh, I guess that miracles stuff was all a load of bullshit after all" ?

Ya know, with all those canes, and crutches that hang there, it makes one wonder just how many people ARE "faking it", or how many disabilities are only in people's heads. It's not a monument to miracle. It's a monument to deception, or delusion.

I'd imagine it has the same kind of placebo effect that faith healers have. A temporary feeling of being cured before the condition shows itself again a few hours later.

It's a sign from the Lord of course.
One in a whole string of announcements of the coming Apocalypse. Noticed the 2 'Storms of the century' in New York? Don't bother stocking up for Christmas! Spend everything you have before December 21! Have fun!
