Dammit, you stole my line.

Sorry. Sad

Mine is currently:
"Freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2=4" - George Orwell (in 1984)

I chose it because it is actually a very deep thought and a very important message - These days more than ever.

Mine is two quotes.

The first is R.G. Ingersoll and it's from a speech he gave at the funeral of a young child. While the whole speech was impressive, that quote in particular resonated with me.

The second, by Chomsky, is probably pretty self explanatory.

I was going to use one of Hitchens' quotes, but there were too many to pick from. Big Grin

Help for the living. Hope for the dead. ~ R.G. Ingersoll

Freedom offers opportunity. Opportunity confers responsibility. Responsibility to use the freedom we enjoy wisely, honestly and humanely. ~ Noam Chomsky

But your signature line doesn't exist. Consider

Oh I see where you're going with that.

Man got to sit and wonder 'why, why, why?'
Tiger got to sleep, bird got to land;
Man got to tell himself he understand.”

Ahhhh! Happier times.

I remember with fondness that the Words I Want To Remember thread used to be called the Sigs I Want To Remember thread.

My all-time favourite, for its poignancy ...

I have thought recently about going back to this one. Undecided

I should point out the words aren't mine...they are lyrics.

I think mine is pretty great.
