Sitting
Well, I was sitting and this thought/question occurred to me:

"If God is not real, then how was the universe created?"

Now as I sit alone, (not by myself), I want the atheistic view of the origin of the Universe: ignorance to the creation, knowing the creation, or are views varied?

SO I decided to come to this forum and post.

In the beginning, Gwyneth Paltrow created me, from me, the universe.

...and now you know. Big Grin

As what i think to be a common Atheist variety Thinks is :

"If God is not real,
How was the universe created?"

one thing we all have in common is " ignorance to the creation ", its just that some of us are honest enough to admit it.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

Seems legit, though that phrase is a fragment.

I don't know and I don't need to invent and explanation just because I don't know.

That's Gwynnies. Angry

I used to always say, I love Gwyneth Paltrow, but over time, the continual use of her name disturbed the witch in me. So I began to say, I love my Gwynnies, where the plurality developed from the many portraits I had of her around my house. Thumbsup

RE: Sitting
Unsupported assumption that the universe requires a creator. You have no evidence one way or the other. There is, however, evidence of the expansion and operation of the universe that does not require any creator or maintenance by a creator.

Well... could I have that evidence? (That was kind of the point) Tongue

Well, it's kinda complicated and involved, and you don't seem very sciency to me, which is why you got the naïve philosophy shorthand. Big Grin
