RE: Skepticism: Porn... Addiction?
It seems to me that it's more a symptom of other factors, rather than a straightforward addiction in itself. I don't think it has the inherent addictive quality that could pull anyone in.

But of course, people can become unhealthily obsessed with anything, and there will always be negative consequences.

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

You can only blow so many loads a day, plus excessive use of the equipment can lead to disrepair.
So you cant just keep on doing it all the time.

break a penis:

"There are no bones in the penis, but it can, in fact, become "broken." Doctors refer to the injury as a "penile fracture," and it's every bit as harrowing as you'd imagine.

"[Penile fracture] is a severe form of bending injury to the erect penis that occurs when a membrane called the tunica albuginea tears," explains Hunter Wessells — chair of the urology department at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He continues:

So how does a penis actually, you know, break? According to Wessels, any form of vigorous intercourse when the penis is rammed into a solid structure... "during sexual acrobatics," for instance.

"We had this patient who suffered penile fracture after running across the room and trying to penetrate his wife with a flying leap," he says.

I'm still laughing out loud at the last sentence.

And no, I'm not gonna make a joke about whether or not I learnt it the hard way. Drinking Beverage

I think it's simply a matter of hormonal balance. Sex is one of our most basic drives, and it's guided by hormone levels. It's hard wired.

And the hormone levels change over the decades for most people. So, you may be seeking sex excessively this year and just go "meh" another year.

And if you just can't keep your hands off at all, go see a doc about your hormone levels.

When one has been as much of a slut as I, porn is kinda boring. Smile

RE: Skepticism: Porn... Addiction?
I think it is possible to become psychologically dependent on porn, developing an overwhelming urge to use porn instead of simply using the imagination. It's a slippery slope, and most people start looking at porn at a young age, thereby molding their minds to become accustomed to the extra stimulation porn provides.
