And can you - figuratively - kill a few of the trolls around here? And by "figuratively", I mean, just make them go away, kill their desire to troll here?

No. Trolls regenerate health. So you can keep fighting this troll until you get your desired skill level.

Just an outsider looking inn.

That would be useful for some of the unique rings in the game. Like using Namira's ring or Hircine's ring without having to take off you main ring. I love the ability Namira's ring gives you.

RE: Skyrim tips pls.
One quirk of that mod is that every magical ring you find is a normal Skyrim ring that only works on your right hand. You can find unenchanted "left hand" rings and you can forge "left hand" rings, and you can enchant your own "left hand" rings, but the only rings you can put on your left hand are actually called "left hand ring" and I don't recall ever finding an enchanted one.

So yes, if you want Namira's ring (you awful ghoul you!) and also want a normal ring, you can enchant your "left hand" ring for whatever you want.

Sadly, there's no way to have Namira's ring and Hircine's ring at the same time because they won't ever be "left hand" rings.

(maybe there is another mod I don't know about that makes rings interchangeable between hands, like they should be)

To be fair Daedric weapons do look better, plus the additional damage dragon bone weapons do is fairly small.

What direction do you plan on going with your character? Perks and what-not.

It's funny, cos I played like that at the beginning. Then I realized the game doesn't have any code or consequences for moral choices. So I joined the dark brotherhood, and the thieves guild, etc.

I have to say the game is more fun that way.

RE: Skyrim tips pls.
Or do all of the above.

Play a true hero, helping the weak, vanquishing evil, all that goody-two-shoes jazz. Then play a rogue, Han Solo style, greedy, scoundrel, but still basically a nice guy who eventually does the right thing, but he can be in the thieves guild, picking pockets, burglarizing, and yet, still helping the weak and fighting evil. Then play a real anti-hero, evil to the core, despicable, a hired assassin, cannibal, daedra-worshiping bad guy.

You can do it all (but it's best to do it all on different characters) and experience the game three different ways.
