Sleeping well on hot nights.
Here in Melbourne we have just experienced our longest continual hot spell on record.
Sleeping has been tough and any good tips would be appreciated.

It is inadviseable to walk round the burbs like that, but I have heard of it as a sleep remedy. Tongue

I wish it were hot... I produce next to no heat when I sleep, and my heart-rate drops to 35bpm, I've been thought dead a few times. When I wake up, my skin is cold to the touch, even after relatively warm nights.

Curious, how did you figure out your sleeping heart rate?

I utilize a fan Smile
But I haven't had a warm night in a while.

RE: Sleeping well on hot nights.
Ex girlfriend tracked it on random nights, out of curiosity. She has an abnormally fast heart rate at rest and was wondering about mine. She first noticed it was slow the first night in the same bed, when she woke up and I was cold like a corpse. For the same reasons, I could never fake being asleep when she wanted something.

RE: Sleeping well on hot nights.

  1. Wrap an ice-pack in a towel.
  2. Sleep.
  3. Wake up in the morning with a cold stomach/chest and everything else hot..
