RE: Small Things That Make You Smile Thread
Small things that make me smile? REVENGE! I just came across a photo that made me laugh. I served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division and had to spend a good deal of time out in the field. Sometimes people feel the need to play tricks on those in their own platoon, like when someone made a stink bomb by pouring Tabasco sauce into a food pouch heater, sealed it off, and then buried it under a pile of MREs. The person brought the box over to us during our lunch time. Everyone was hungry so we dug through the box looking for our favorite meals. This caused the pouch heater to come open, spewing the noxious, stinking gas into our tent. Another fellow and I--that's me on the left--felt the need for justice, so we emptied the box of left over MRE packets and took two rather hefty dumps into it, closed it, and sat it outside the tent of the perpetrators. Resounding screams let us know they had found our little gift. This picture was taken shortly after we were ordered to bury the evidence. That was our only punishment since our superiors knew what had transpired before our retaliation. Ah, memories!

Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.

The cartwheeling spider (aka flic-flac spider). Granted, in real life instead of making me smile, it'd most probably make me do the exact same thing, only in the opposite direction, but still...)

And a huge one - Pinocchio rex Laugh out load

"Pinocchio" looked very different to other tyrannosaurs.

"It had the familiar toothy grin of T. rex, but its snout was long and slender, with a row of horns on top," said Edinburgh's Dr Steve Brusatte. "It might have looked a little comical, but it would have been as deadly as any other tyrannosaur, and maybe even a little faster and stealthier. We thought it needed a nickname, and the long snout made us think of Pinocchio's long nose.""

Oh, Elk, there are no words to describe how much I love Tim Curry. Heart Do you know what that movie was with him dressed as an old woman (a clip in the last vid), looks like my kind of creepy Evil_monster

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta
