RE: Small Things That Make You Smile Thread
Consider Is there a man version of that? Well if there is, find me whenever they remaster him and make him hot. I might have a use for him.

But yeah something that made me smile was the other day I saw a worm. Yeah that wiggly thing that it's head looks like it's ass (which depending on how nice the ass is how I gauge how unfortunate a creature is for that quality). Anyways, I was watching it doing it wiggle thing on the ground and for the first time, I found it fascinating. Through life I just saw worms as that weird thing god created out of boredom or something and was grossed out. When I saw it though, I couldn't help but be interested by it as a creature that evolved to adapt to its habitat and how it fit into life on this planet. Afterwords, I realized how everything in the world is more fascinating without a creator and how I appreciate nature and lives in general without a god.

That and I finally got my monitor to work with my tower so I got my PC baby back. Played a game for the first time in 3 weeks and was all, "OMG LOOK AT EVERYTHING I'M MOVING SO FAST WOAH LOOK AT YOUR HAND! JUST LOOK AT YOUR HAND! IT'S SO ROUND AND 3D LOOKING!"

RE: Small Things That Make You Smile Thread
Went diving today with one of our club members who is 81! Mornings are deep dives and this was to a wreck that lies in 110 feet of water, we didn't go that deep but she was in her element, handled it without a glitch.

She is still incredibly sharp and funny. After the dives we went to lunch and she was telling us the story that when she was 19 she became an airplane pilot and then mechanic and instructor, bought her first plane in 1948 for $1,500. She married another flight instructor and one day they went sailing and afterwards decided to buy a sailboat; they spent the next 15 years traveling from island to island.

She taught her brother how to pilot a plane and he did 208 sorties over Vietnam shooting down Migs before being shot down himself, a commerotative statue was built in his honor in Ft. Maxwell, Birmingham, Alabama.

She lives alone on her boat nowadays, still dons SCUBA equipment peridiodically to clean the hull. She says she's looking for a good man...Gasp Big Grin

I am in awe.

*Correction: they didn't buy the boat, they built their own boat! I asked how big and she said 39 feet. Do you know why 39 feet she asked me. No I said. Because our lot was 40 feet wide she said.

Three clean, groomed, sweet-smelling dogs! Gave Lady a bath last night and trimmed her nails - not an easy task. Chopper and Karma went to the spa this morning and got all trimmed up and came home with Halloween bandanas. All my pups are looking good. Smile

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Hadn't bought lottery tickets in months. Stopped and got some for tonight and grabbed two $5.00 scratch tickets. Came out $45.00 ahead on those. Thumbsup

Which is a 2*5, carry the 12, divide by 45 return on investment. Or something like that - you people know I can't math!

Haha - no. My husband wanted to name him Harley - I figured I could stay with the biker theme by going with Chopper. He's definitely not a Harley. Smile
