mmmmm... Drooling

Careful Laugh out load

Hunk of sliced chicken, cheese + a spread of mayo on both sides, on rye bread? I can handle that! Chicken is like my go-to meat after an illness induced hiatus from solids!
It was SO flippin good! Sadcryface

You'd think nothing but chicken noodle soup, with saltine crackers crushed up & dropped in would do it, but nope!

my 11 yo daughter got accepted to a science & engineering camp at a nearby university.

it had capped enrollment, had to apply, submit grades and rec letters.

Went shopping withhe help of my sister in law, because I HATE shopping, and I don't understand women's fashion - at all. She helped me get two pairs of jeans, four nice shirts, a bazillion tank tops that will go with anything else I might buy later (cause you know you can't just buy a woman's shirt and wear it, they're all see-through Dodgy ), and new shoes. I'm so happy!!! Big Grin

RE: Small Things That Make You Smile Thread
This week's This American Life episode was titled The Birds and Bees ... possibly THE single, most informative and instructive hour I've heard on radio (or anywhere) in years!

In short: UNDERSTANDING AND MISUNDERSTANDING BEGIN EARLY. I think everyone needs to sit down and listen to this episode and finally begin to discuss and behave accordingly.
