Whoa, those are some big bugs.

We get some like that down here. I can't find the picture I took of a moth with a four-inch wingspan I found on my porch one time, but this guy was pretty cool:

Big Grin

Looks like you've got Silence of the Lambs going on out there.

I was following a Toyota Prius yesterday and noticed the license plate was "YMMV". Big Grin

RE: Small Things That Make You Smile Thread
Upgraded my phone to the iPhone 6, liking it (still wish the size wasn't so huge though). and I have officially bought all seven Harry Potter books and synced them to my phone so that I can always have the series on me to read.

btw, I never knew that it was so easy to just fall back into Harry Potter. I thought I would eventually get tired of rereading them, but nope, my mind is still as entranced as it was when I had first picked them up (when I was a 4th grader).

Love Judy Garland! Charlie Chaplin wrote that song for Modern Times waaaaaay back when.

When my kids were 4 and 5 my husband bought some cheap dvds of old silent Charlie Chaplin movies to entertain our kids. I thought my husband was crazy. Kids don't want to watch some old black and white silent movie. Boy, was I wrong. My two kids LOVED Charlie Chaplin and watched them over and over again. What was the coolest was when they watched Charlie Chaplin with my dad who as a little boy had enjoyed seeing them. So here was two generations separated by many decades laughing at an old silent movie. It was one of those wonderful moments that warmed the cockles of my heart.Heart

One more thing. I think I read that this scene was shot where downtown Anaheim is now.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I was wrong. The last scene of Modern Times was filmed in Santa Clarita CA on Sierra Highway and Penman Rd. It's still very rural there and if you google map search that address you can still see the mountains in the background.

That's soooooo cool! This did make me smile.

I have discovered that if I put Wylers sugar free fruit drink mix through my soda stream it makes excellent "soda" for way cheaper.
