Ummm, percentiles go from 1 to 100. Consider
Not in the military. You always give 110%. Whatever that means. I guess it means your best is not good enough...just get it done.

No, the average is around 97% which means some kids will be higher and others lower. It's a bell curve.

Weird isn't it?

So yes, some kids can be over 100 percent and still a very few others will be in negative numbers. I was thrilled when my older son was finally on the chart.

My friend who has a son the same age (her husband was like Lurch), was always around the 130 percent range when he was little. He's very tall today well over 6'5" which blows the bell curve.
So it is kids like yours that always screw with the bell curve. The are going to be very popular in high school. Wink

It's on my sons growth chart from 1998.

noun: percentile; plural noun: percentiles
  • each of the 100 equal groups into which a population can be divided according to the distribution of values of a particular variable.
  • each of the 99 intermediate values of a random variable that divide a frequency distribution into 100 groups.
    "the tenth percentile for weight"

Yeah....that is true. I really don't know what they pay me for since I became an officer.

Beats me. All I remember is the phrase "Don't call me sir! I work for a living!"

I should be able to leave work around noon today and then don't have to go back until Monday. Banana_zorro

Then, I will work Monday and Tuesday...have Wednesday off...will be able to leave around noon Thursday and not go back till the following Monday. Clap

So happy to have a bit of a break for a change. Big Grin

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF
