I can't wait for them to get here so I can start reading them.

Working at one of my clients today, and I had to remove a shelf to run a wire through.
As I removed the screws it occurred to me that those screws were last touched by my friend Terry, who died of a heart attack earlier this spring. It was oddly comforting, to be connected in some way to him, to his works.

Got a 40c an hour raise at work. Almost on $20 an hour just for fucking standing there.
This shit is retarded, I'm way to overpaid for this crap.

I'm babysitting my neighbor's birds while they're out of town, so in addition to my own african grey and green cheek conure, I've also got a cockatiel and another african grey in my care. Here is a transcript of a recent conversation I had with the birds.

Me: "Hi, birds!"

Grayson: "Chirp!"
Bitsie: "Chirp!"
Sammy: "Chirp!"
Greybird: "Meow!"

I love birds! Smile

Poor Chewy is feather plucking. Undecided All these contractors in and out and moving her around to accommodate them...strange noises and smells...she is stressed. But she is eating well so I know she will bounce back.

Of course I have been asked more than once to make her talk by all the people who have been in here lately...there's no making her do anything. Cool

She did whistle for the dogs for me this morning. Other than that, she's been pretty quiet. She will probably blab our ears off once all these crews get out of here. And there is a strong possibility she will have picked up some Spanish. Tongue

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Poor Chewy! I hope things get back to normal in your house soon. For all of your sakes.

The guys who have been working in the attic all day found this:

Our house was built in 1986...well after they stopped making pull tab cans. Someone must have been drinking some pretty old beer. Tongue
