RE: Small Things That Make You Smile Thread
This guy in my unit with a thick Boston accent starts singing "My Heart Will Go On" right before attention is called at an awards formation because he knows we won't be able to keep a straight face for like 10 minutes.
Imagine "Near... Far.... Wherever you are!!" but with the "R" sounds all screwed up. ![]() |

They just hatched, and if you sit by the open window and listen carefully, you can hear the young ones raise a ruckus when mom and dad bring back bugs. <peep peep peep>. They made it away safely as I slept in two days ago. Gonna miss those little peepers. I was lucky enough to catch last years fledgling rush. They did not mess around, bold one goes and the other two were out in 10 minutes. |

Just did Relay for Life with my mom. She did her survivor lap, I did the caregiver lap with her, then we did one lap with her team. After that, between the near 90 degree Fahrenheit temps and the 80%+ humidity, we were done with the walking on asphalt in the hot sun.
Need to think of a witty signature. |

Awwww Moms, I was typing "fucker" into a message today, and my new phone tried to autocorrect it to "ducker". This made me think of you... and it made me smile.
You're wonderful, Moms! |

Karma wasn't too thrilled when Ziggy tried to give her a little kiss. She still sees him as the hyper, pesky little brother.
![]() Ziggy relaxing. Sometimes I forget how young he is. Today he was laying on the couch next to me and was making suckling sounds while he was asleep. ![]() Five months old. See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF |

If you need to say fucker in your message, you should probably just say "Dugger". It is the new filthy word. |
