The sympathy around here is underwhelming. Dodgy

Actually, I am still running a horrible fever so delirium is a real possibility. Undecided

And I think it's turned into an upper respiratory infection. My oldest asked if she could have my headphones and laptop if I die from this.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

Some days?

RE: Small talk
Hope you get better Anj. You will. Thumbsup

Back to the small talk topic.

So what is considered small talk? Is sports scores small talk? How about car repair and car problems. The latest movies, is that small talk? The weather is probably small talk unless there is a monsoon or a gigantic snow storm then it affects peoples lives. So how do you label something as "small talk"?

Personally, I think small talk is rather important. Even though it's usually mundane stuff it can lead to deeper more important conversation. I mean, do you go up to someone and start discussing Plato's Republic right off the bat? No. If you did it would be socially awkward. You have to start off ..... well, with small talk.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Maybe instead of small talk I should have said "Rambling, uninspired, uningaging blather just to hear yourself talk, talk".

Now, about that Plato guy... Big Grin
