Yeah, why the fuck did you wake me up? That's uncalled for.

RE: Small things that make you frown
My dog is over 13 years old. He's showing his age. He takes a pain pill daily now because of his joint pain (which must be working very well for him)

For the last year or so, he's been completely unable to reach a countertop, so admittedly we've become quite lazy about making sure things are off the counter (sometimes even the kitchen table).

Today, kiddo doesn't have school, so we decided to all go to Costco. We shopped, got hotdogs and then came home.

My man, first to enter the house, shouts something I couldn't hear. I'm bringing things in and organizing where things go.

I come into the house and my man is talking to the dog, sternly, and letting him outside.

The dog ate a whole loaf of low carb extremely high fiber bread. Facepalm

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

When people say "All X are not Y" when they probably mean "Not all X are Y."

I am trying to adapt, really I am.... my boss left today at 11:30. She didn't say bye, didn't say she wouldn't be back. Nothing. When I ran out if work to do around 3to I started asking around one guy thought she said she was leaving for the day. I know having an assistant is new to her but you'd think she'd at least make sure I had work to do.

Sat in my office and played on the paint program until 4:30. Should I ask her to let me know when she's going to be gone for the day or just let it ride?

She's been on her own for 2yrs not accountable to anyone so maybe she just forgot but this is not the first time. I did mention it 2 weeks ago when it happened so I'm not thrilled about saying something again. Sad

since not being productive is a good part of what bothers you, see what you can do to stockpile some things that are not high priority. Ask her now and again for things she would like to have done someday. Make a list of these things and go to it when she leaves the helm again.

What if you've had too much peanut butter?
