Now perhaps you would like to stake some extra claim on the bibal's veracity on the basis that hares chew their cud?

And they "noticed patterns" like numberless stars and a spherical Earth circa 1000 BCE, too, right? Or the expanding universe across one dozen Bible verses?

Only if you think the Bible says what you want it to say instead of what it actually says. Your assertions on this were already debunked.

Quote:The Hebrew phrase for ‘chew the cud’ simply means ‘raising up what has been swallowed’. Coneys and rabbits go through such similar motions to ruminants that Linnaeus, the father of modern classification (and a creationist), at first classified them as ruminants.

Linnaeus died in 1778. There has been progress in knowledge since then.

Quote:Also, rabbits and hares practice refection, which is essentially the same principle as rumination, and does indeed ‘raise up what has been swallowed’. The food goes right through the rabbit and is passed out as a special type of dropping. These are re-eaten, and can now nourish the rabbit as they have already been partly digested.

Coprophagia is not cud-chewing. And creation.com is a joke.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Linnaeus also said humans were several different species.

What does Linnaeus's statement have to do with the fact that the Bible didn't err?

I'm told atheists on forums like TTA are bitter and angry. If you are not, your posts to me will be respectful, insightful and thoughtful. Prove me wrong by your adherence to decent behavior.

I call baloney. There's a thread on which I posted a dozen verses, for example, on the expanding universe. No one responded to that post (the last time I checked was some days ago).

Also, it never ceases to amaze me how everyone here is a Hebrew or Greek scholar or both, like they give a rip. I'm the person motivated to look into those languages because I care. The rabbis understand the rabbits and what they do is "kosher" but of course you don't. Drinking Beverage
