So, I've been approved to start teaching in church again.
I talked it out with the education minister yesterday.

One caveat though, I can only teach lessons according to the lesson plan. I cannot create my own lesson.

A fair compromise, I suppose. I guess Baptists are starting to soften their feelings towards dirty, filthy Calvinists.

Well congrats to you! I'm sorry we couldn't get you deconverted first.

Maybe we can convince them to let me teach too? Big Grin

Having been in a position of trying to staff church positions, it's more likely they're running short on volunteers. Tongue

It was just a fucking apple man, we're sorry okay? Please stop the madness Laugh out load

Well, of course you can NOT! Angry
You need to be kept in line you uppity little Calvinist! You, with your goofy "Elect" ideas and acceptance of evolution... you probably hang out with Atheists, too - and they might as well be a gateway drug; the next thing you know, you'll be trying to teach kids it's ok to talk to poor people.
Why you... you ... Censored

... hippy!

Well I gotta admit... KC's ideas are pretty wacky.

Then I think back to all the teachers I had, and you know, I don't think a single one of them, even the uni professors, was sane.

Actually there was one but he died Sad

My point being that wacky teachers are an essential rite of passage for developing your own thinking IMO Smile

Why would you want to teach children beliefs that you don't hold? Really, this makes no sense. Huh

I'm not teaching children. I'll be teaching my adult Sunday School class.

Also, I'm not teaching anything to do with election.
