Oh crap...it's also a leap year.

We're screwed. Sad

Oh double crap... if you take 12212012 and divide by 21 (the day of the end of the mayan calendar you get 581524 (rounded to whole numbers). if you add these numbers (5+8+1+5+2+4) you get (25) the day of Jesus's day of birth!

I think I could do this all night! I wonder if I can get Hitler's or Obama's or Rick Perry's birthday in there somehow.

Yes, and thanks for reminding me about that extra day of doom. [Image: tongue0020.gif]

The end is nigh!

If you take 21122012 and convert it into base 64 (for no particularly good reason) you get "1 GalS" which looks a lot like 1 gallon, which is very close to the amount of blood estimated to be in the average adult human.

And we all know how much god loves to spill human blood. (although the bible doesn't seem to be too concerned about whether it is an adult or a child's blood split (or the unborn))

Is there any sign that the mayans took leap years into account? If thier calculations are off over a 1000+ years we might be looking at the ancient equivalent of a Harold Camping.

Good news everybody! I've decided that this world interests me after all so it won't be ending anytime soon... or at least until I become bored with it.

Not sure why but I can't edit my first post.
So anyway, the first two dates on the list are over and we are still alive. Nothing special happened, Nothing enlightening, nothing worse than before. World still turns...

Let's see what the rest of the year brings

Well like Jeez let's not get too excited here 'cos two lousy dates have passed - we've still got around 300 more days for the world to end in 2012.
