Just cutting to the chase, how is your wife handling it?

Does she identify as bi or lesbian? If not, what's going to happen?

Hi Kingsy- good question! She's handling it pretty well. It's obviously difficult, it's a huge adjustment and it's not how she pictured our future together. However, as I transition, she's adjusting as well. She's never really thought of herself as strictly straight, but not really bi either. We are working to stay together, and so long as we do, the end result is that we will be in a lesbian relationship.

I struggled with that for a long time- not wanting to change her life so drastically. But ultimately, we both knew that if I continued to ignore the dysphoria and continued to descend into depression, the result would be worse for both of us. I would probably end up suicidal, or at least very resentful.
