So, my years of playing video games became useful this morning.
First, thank you: Oblivion, Skyrim, Fall Out 3, and Fall Out NV.

I was locked out of my desk this morning. With no key around, it looked like I was stuck... that was until I fashioned two paper clips into my own Master Key.

In less than two minutes, I picked the lock and was in my desk.

My skills have served me well.

Something similar happened to me once. Much like with you; a history of video games saved the day.

I returned to my car after grabbing a sandwich from 7-Eleven on my lunch break to find that I had accidentally locked my keys inside. Luckily, I had my briefcase with me, so I was able to slap a pound of C-4 to the drivers door and blow that fucker open.

Then, on another occasion, I was greeted with a phone call from my girlfriend saying that she was pregnant. Thinking quickly, I was able to scale a mountain close to her home and, using a targeting-laser, I called in an air-strike that sent a 1-ton bunker-buster missile into her lower abdomen.

Through profound pain comes profound knowledge.

Did you by any chance hum the Mission Impossible theme while picking the lock?

And where the hell did you find those paper clips?

EDIT: on the bus and got distracted while reading. The above question is silly.

P.S. SQUIRREL!

I was taught to break into cars for work many years ago, rescuing stupid tourists who'd locked themselves out. Hobo

Can't think of any useful video game skills except maybe FSX, that might be a bad idea.
