RE: So who's Watching the Debate
I had a feeling that Nye wouid have issues. This is why this whole debate is worrisome. Giving credence to people who believe the earth is 6000 years old and everything began 4000 years ago after the flood.

I keep facepalming.

I had tuned it off. I really should have kept it off.

Yeah... I had to stop watching. If I was a creationist watching this debate, I'd be further entrenched in my beliefs. This should have been something that could make those folks wonder... If even just a little.

Yeah its unfortunate hopefully it will get someone to question things more. The whole young earth bullshit theory wasn't popular when I was still in church they took the stance that time is infinite to god and so on. At least with the people I was friends with during that time, I probably would have left church faster if most were young earthers growing up lol.

RE: So who's Watching the Debate
Ham uses the scriptures a little too much. I was expecting a little more pseudoscience to back up the claim about the reliability of creation. Even believers can't be so thrilled about his performance.

The real gospel: Jesus went rogue and preached love instead of genocide. God got angry and went old testament style on Jesus's ass, setting him up to be tortured and killed. The End.

I just couldn't go from my science class where we were taking about the age of the earth and fossils and such to listening to anything come out of Ham's mouth.

Now had it been a Hitchens in the debate with Ham...yeah, I would have made popcorn and settled in for a great time.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

When I was in grammar school I was told, dinosaurs didn't exist. Yes Bones were a trick by scientists.

Now they believe, I'm told, the Flintstones is a documentary.
