No. The pain would be constant, and there would be focal symptoms. It might be an AV Malformation, (or a cyst of some sort), which would account for the years of headaches. Dumbass needs to get his butt to the Neurologists at BR Medical Center like yesterday. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerebral_ar...lformation New seizures in adults are ACUTE problems. An ER visit TODAY is warranted. They will do a CT scan or MRI.

QFTMFT. Yeah, I said, "doctor" in my earlier post, but I SHOULD have said "ER". And get SOMEONE ELSE to drive you there. You don't want to seize in the car. I've jumped into a car with a seizing driver to stop it running away before. It's not fun. Not for me, and especially not for the child who was in the passenger seat.

This is going to make me unpopular but I'm gonna say it.

I'm thinking between 2 thoughts right now.

1) You're making this up for an unknown reason.

Given his history I find this to not be credible

2) You are being -utterly- irresponsible, and honestly I would report you to DHS or whomever I could for endangering yourself, your children and everyone else if I had the ability to.

This however, I guess he does not realise that if he has a stroke while driving and kills himself and another person his family will be liable for wrongful death. He had a seizure and did nothing about it. Would be far more disastrous than going to a doctor.

RE: So yeah... I just had a seizure.
I had a really bad headache... woke up with one. I hadn't taken any tramadol the day before because I wanted to try and go without it. I took a good bit more tramadol than I'm used to because the pain was so bad. I didn't eat all day because my headache was making me nauseated. I barely drank any water either.

The short of it is I took too much tramadol on an empty stomach. If the conditions are right, it can cause seizures. I have a MASSIVE tolerance to tramadol, but I over estimated myself. That'll never happen again.

RE: So yeah... I just had a seizure.
If hes not lying, then he NEEDS to think about what he is saying.

He could seize while holding his children, while alone with his children.

He could seize while hes driving, kill himself, his family, or strangers.

I guarantee all of those lives are more important than a drivers license. The fact he is ignoring that fact is -beyond- terrible. I have no more sympathy.

Hes being stupid and dangerous. Tough shit it might make working life hard not having a license, your actual life and your FAMILY should be more important.

KC, you really need to prioritize here. Seriously. I dont want to see you or anyone else dead.

Also, why blog about it and scare all these people who care about you knowing you arent going to do a damn thing?!

RE: So yeah... I just had a seizure.
The medicine caused the seizure.

It's very simple. I'll never be that arrogant again when it comes to pushing my body to its limits.

I have been to some of the best neuros in the country - Neuro Medical Center, Surgical Specialty Center, BR Clinic - all of them can't figure it out... headaches that is. The only relation the seizure has with my headaches is the medicie I take for them.

My last CT was less than a year ago.

RE: So yeah... I just had a seizure.
I've been on the meds for seizures for 20 years. Haven't had one now for around 6 years, but this is only due to the meds.

I am not epileptic. They really don't know how to classify what I have. All they can tell me is that I have some kind of anxiety disorder that normally results in just a faint, but I go into a full blown grand mal fit. It started with fainting at the sight of blood or seeing any kind of physical abnormality on an animal or person. It then developed into fainting while just hearing a discussion about such things. If I fainted in, say, a theatre, then I could no longer go to the theatre because it would trigger a fit. In the end I was virtually housebound.

I went to see a specialist, and all he would say was that I should lie on my back with my legs in the air every time I felt a fit coming! Not very helpful. It took several years for a doctor to eventually try me on meds. I am on a medication that's usually prescribed for depression and it has saved my life.

Look, Friend, you don't KNOW that for sure. That MIGHT be the cause, but it also might NOT. There's only ONE way to figure that out FOR SURE, and you KNOW what that is.

What you CAN'T afford is to be out on I-10 with your kids in the car and have a seizure and slam head-on into a busload of children. Because we'll all get to see the fiery aftermath on CNN and I'll hound your dead ass 'til Judgment Day.

C'mon, Man, you've GOT to do this.

RE: So yeah... I just had a seizure.
Sorry, I don't buy it.

After blacking out on your way home a while back, this is becoming a pattern. Did you also take too many meds that day?

Fuck the headaches - tell a doctor about the seizure and the blackout.

I get that it's scary to possibly walk into an unpleasant diagnosis...been there done that and I do it every six months.

Making up excuses won't make things better and ignoring it certainly won't help. Stop rationalizing AND diagnosing yourself.

Now I am pissed off. You are smarter than this.
