(I really only drink sprite or similar since I had the baby, gave soda up completely while pregnant. ) It's the carbonation. I've recently started using my soda stream to carbonate Wylers sugar free juice mix. Totally fixes the craving.

I don't really drink any soda. I do like the carbonation though--especially in the heat in California. Is Wyler's good? I usually drink Pellegrino or Perrier and that's usually it.

It's okay. Pretty generic fruit drink mix, but it's nice enough to use

Why not?

Okay, didn't you create this thread before? Or I guess that was different graphics. Soda is a stupid word anyway, it's Pop or Nuthin'

"Pop" sounds so Ian McKellen (gay and old). In the general sense, it's all "coke".

In New England, if you order "coke" you are either going to get a Coke® or "Is Pepsi® OK?"

The answer to this question is of course "No. It is not okay."

RE: Soda = worst thing ever?
I think there is some misunderstanding about the whole "coke" colloquial thing here in the South.

We call it "coke" when speaking generally.

"Hey, hold up dude... I want to grab a coke."
At this point we go get the drink of our choice.

In most cases, where specificity is required, we ask by the drink by name.

Some people seem to think that we'll ask for a "coke" and then we'll be asked "Which flavor?" To which we'll respond, "Dr. Pepper, Sprite, etc"

...it's not like that at all. Again, we only call it "coke" when we're referring to a non-specific soda in a very general sense.

RE: Soda = worst thing ever?
I stopped drinking soda pop a few months back, and I'm not missing it. I stick to water, mineral water, or beer, and I'm cool with it.
