Some of My Favorite Pieces I
Now that I'm as about as moved into Замок Кларион (Castle Clarion) as I can manage by myself, I'm starting to settle in, hunker down for the winter, and generally try to keep myself together. Music is, for me a very important part of staying together, and I just wanted to share some favorite pieces.

Today, it's the Janáček Sinfonietta Op. 61:

Incidentally, the opening theme can be heard in Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's "Knife Edge".

Also, please forgive me if I don't get the insertion quite right. I'm still learning this forum system. Any help with it would be appreciated.

A little more of what keeps me sane, for values of "sane" not expressible in the common experience:

If you've seen the film "Hopscotch", you've heard this piece.

Perhaps I begin to babble musically, but here's another in my library of favorites:

What, you were expecting John Cage? He's in there, too, if you wondered... Shy

Just out of interest, why not put all eggs in one basket and just keep extending the one thread or even...

join in with the others who post their favourite pieces...

There's no need to keep starting new threads. Please keep these all in one thread to avoid flooding the boards.

Just visiting.
