Aw, FUCK! Angry That song (It's a Small World After All)is an abomination against humanity! I'm gonna go crank up some Led Zeppelin to get rid of that earworm, TYVM. Tongue

Went to Disneyland when I was a kid. It's been in there ever since playing on a constant loop. Maybe that's what's wrong.

My father was a huge Horton fan.

He did another song about someone named Jim Bridger...

If I'm recalling the song correctly.

He also did North to Alaska -- but not sure if that was historical or just based on the movie with John Wayne.

"North To Alaska" was written for the eponymous movie.

Try Sabaton. Most if not all of their songs are about history. 'Resist and bite' and 'Inmate 4859' are good starters.

This song is so awesome, I also saw this one on Last Week Tonight and looked it up on YouTube, it's a great rap about Alexander Hamilton's life:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Funny but war seems to grow songs like weeds in grass.

It's A Long Way to Tipperary

When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again

Til the Lights of London Shine Again

My dad was in the London Blitz when he was a very young man. He said it was pretty damned scary. He talked about that song though it's not well known. My dad was about 45 when I was born so he goes way back in time. Lol.
