Original Version of "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart," by the Bee Gees.
This is a finely done ballad the band had done about rediscovering themselves after a painful period of breakup and alienation.





And then there's the soulful rendition by Al Green. This is quite frankly an out of body experience, oozing with so much ardor and grief that it might just break the tape as it's playing. If you get yourself some good headphones, and listen closely at the 3-minute mark, you can actually hear his heart start to rip in half...
