It's obvious that humans evolved from the primordial slime...

Take a look at politicians -- you can still see the slime family resemblance....

Well slime can do something productive and help the planet. What do politicians do?

Or 2,000 years ago. If you believe the nativity story.

Just shows, doesn't it ... vagabond Jewish couples were persecuted since before recorded history!

Sorry Brian. That typo was beyond my ability to resist.

No. Everything was put there for me. I am the the centre. I will live forever. I am it. I am everything.

You too can be like me. Just accept Jesus. He died so you could have it all. He so wants you to be like me. I'll pray for you.

Wrong, not all religions subscribe to exclusive monotheism, which is primarily a thing among judea-christian traditions, but not really true for Buddhists or Hindus.

When it's comes to exclusivist perspective on truth, atheists are generally in the same bandwagon here as Christians, and Muslims, more so than with buddhists and hindus.

Saying the scope can be opened beyond your view & thinking that view is right is still thinking you are right. Which is still applied via that.

That's not a direct logical only on/off switch case you would say is wrong in this description.

(I see you're just inferring the concept of "exclusivity" despite it's non explicit manner being in the statement)

It's certainly not true for all forms of buddhists, but people when wanting to apply it to reasonable cleanliness want to act like Zen Buddhism is the majority form when those realms are probably a bit more like a quarter, if that high up.

Bullshit.

Atheists await evidence, "truth" is for believers.

You forget to mention us atheists! What about us?Big Grin

We have the muslims, the jews, the christards, the hindus, the buddhists (well maybe not the buddhists) against us. Don't we deserve a mention?

Not to get all foaming at the mouth defensive here, but how do you come to the conclusion that Jews, Buddhists, and Hindus are against atheists?

Judging purely from my own experience, I've met 1 single Jew who spoke out against atheism and I've never heard anyone else complain about atheism from these other religions.
