I remember somebody citing the "fact" that at the moment of death, a human body loses some small amount of weight and this, therefore, was "evidence" for the existence of a "soul," and that the loss of weight was the soul exiting the body.

Funny, seeing as I thought the soul was non-physical and as a non-physical thing, it wouldn't have "weight."

Oops.

There is no "I" in "team" but there is a broken and mixed up "me."

Generally true, about weight loss. When a person dies, the sphincter muscles relax. A pretty good indicator (but definitely not 100%, like everything else) that resuscitation is going to be useless is that the person has urinated. They lose weight when that happens.

Then again, I would think that the soul would be connected to god in heaven, and would be tugged slightly up, so if a person died, they should gain weight. /Fundy Facepalm

I guess he is talking about free will. He mentioned it as a fact. There isn't any evidence that actual free will really exists. It's a illusion at best.
