Species (and not the terrible movie)
Besides some minor quibbles with their wording, this is a pretty interesting article on the topic of speciation. Specifically it is about sympatric speciation whereby one species descends from another within the same community, no geographic separation needed (allopatric speciation).

Pretty cool stuff Thumbsup

All you need is one mutant Queen ant to start a colony, and you have your millions of news ants right there. Could that work for other animals?

It is terrible...

Terribly awesome that is!

Check that shit out, you got Michael Madsen (yes, Mr. Blonde from Resevior Dogs)

You also got Alfred Molina, who also played Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2.

Don't forget Forest Whitaker, of Platoon and Good Morning Vietnam.

And last but not least, fucking Ben Kingsley, of Schindler's List and more recently the Mandarin in Iron-Man 3.

This was one of the best things to come out of 1995, it's a great B movie; because it tries so hard and plays it so straight, it can't help but be endearing even when it massively fails.

Well, if DLJ weren't taking precautions ... Consider
