Standing Rock protester weren't broken
It seems that the US Corp of Engineers will not aprove the pipline route that was contested by Sioux leadership and conservationists. The project isn't completly abandonned and new discussion will take place to find an alternate route that wouldn't threaten water reserves and burial grounds. While I did not follow this story as much as I should have, to me, its an interesting victory and a wise decision. What do you think about this issue?

Good for them.

All I kept thinking, every time I saw a news story about how the protesters were being treated, was that America hasn't changed at all since the incidents described in A People's History of the United States.

And that not nearly enough people have read it.
