Star Wars or Star Trek?
Wars or Trek?

I'm a Trekkie myself, having watching repeats of Original Series, then getting on board with Next Generation, Voyager and Deep Space Nine. Love the movies as well, new and the older ones.

Not to say I don't like Star Wars, as I enjoy them as movies, just love me some Trek a little bit more Smile

Then Movies and TV is not the section you are looking for.

RE: Star Wars or Star Trek?
There is no comparison.

One is a series of adventure/space battle movies. The other is...everything I ever dreamed since first I read "Space Cat" and then "Tom Corbett."

Star Trek all the way. I grew up with the original crew and never got into Star Wars. Mildly interested as a child, because of the cool effects and sensearound cinemas, but not really into it.

RE: Star Wars or Star Trek?
I'm a Star Wars fan. My dad was a huge movie buff and as a kid, instead of watching animated movies with cute little bears popping about, we watched the Star Wars movie franchise, James Bond, Indiana Jones, and a few old school horror movies thrown in like The Birds and Night of the Living Dead. He would never let us watch Jaws though, because we lived on a boat three months out of the year and he thought we'd be afraid to jump off the bow of the boat into the middle of the ocean (something we enjoyed doing) Big Grin But zombie people and psychotic birds attacking apparently okay Thumbsup Laugh out load

(Maybe that's why I turned out as normal as I did Hobo Tongue )

Not fond of binary choices.

Favorite space adventure/fantasies that are series:
1. Babylon 5
2. Firefly
3. Battlestar Galactica (new version)
4. Dr. Who
5. Stargate series
6. Farscape
7. Dune series (TV series)
8. Star Trek (some series more than others)
9. Star Wars

Single movies:
2001: A Space Odyssey
Blade Runner
Silent Running

I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best.
