That right there is an arcade flight combat game, a massive role-playing game, a real time strategy game with you commanding galaxy wide forces, a tactical first person shooter, and an arcade racing game. Not only that, but each one of these is a stellar example of it's genre, and many of them are still seen as standard bearers, being well worth your time even if you know nothing about Star Wars.

KOTOR was a fantastic game, and still holds up as an example of its genre. You are totally right. Thumbsup

Since both franchises are really about fantasy and magic rather than science, I prefer Harry Potter.

RE: Star Wars or Star Trek?
I was a HUGE Star Wars fan when it first came out (Episode 4) and vehemently anti-Trek, but with maturity I've come around to appreciating the premise behind Star Trek, and I like it much more now.

The crappy Star Wars sequels didn't help ...

RE: Star Wars or Star Trek?
Neither is my cup of tea. Too repetitive.

If I must pick, the music and 'Rogue One' pulls Wars into the lead.

Pod Racer is an AMAZING game. I had it on the Dreamcast, so pod racer with NUTS graphics [For the time at least]. Plus whilst it was really hard, the arcade version was insane as well, with the giant leavers and big red boost button Big Grin
