Stephen Hawking vs the people on this forum.
oh how the panties of this forum are going to do some major twisting.

Judaism seems to be extremely popular on this atheist forum for some strange reason, as is Stephen Hawking and other scientists. What happens to the peoples brain on here when two of their favorite things to love has a head on collision?

Stephen Hawking is boycotting the upcoming high profile conference in Israel. Ruh Roh kids, what are we to do.....

I and I, you seem to equate support of Israel or at least opposition to actions of some of the muslim states as support of judasim. It would be rather like you calling me, a person who firmly opposes most Israeli actions, anti-semitic.

RE: Stephen Hawking vs the people on this forum.
I work outside so, in the Summer heat I figure I don't want to get used to air conditioning and then have to spend the day and half the night jacking my body system around. I have an air conditioner at home but I very rarely use it and only turn it on when it finally gets unbearable and then I keep it low.

People ask me how I can stand it. I try to tell them it's a mind over matter and just getting the body used to it. However, there are some neat tricks one can do to keep cool and some interesting ways to quickly cool down on a blistering hot day.

And this is mine: Underwear in the freezer. I keep a stash there all Summer.

Yep, when I get done mowing the lawn or come home from work on one of our famous 105 degree days, I hop in a cool shower, dry off, and walk straight from the bathroom to the kitchen freezer and the world just feels all zany. Thumbsup

That's MY panty story. Wink

I think in the end, I just feel like I'm a secular person who has a skeptical eye toward any extraordinary claim, carefully examining any extraordinary evidence before jumping to conclusions. ~ Eric ~ My friend ... who figured it out.

It's not just that. I started a thread about a book written by an atheist communist professor in Israel, this book basically shat on Judaic and Christian myths that are taken wrongly as historical fact. But since this book challenged Judaic religious nonsense it got many people here upset and they attacked the premise of the book. If they didnt do this because they like Judaism then what was the reason?
