Anyone know of any studies showing the average percentage of children whose parents were non theists ended up becoming religious later on in life.

I found a rather interesting bit from the 2001 Scottish census.

So, Christians lost 10% of their numbers in this generation, and non-religious gained 9% to their numbers. Not really answering your question, but still, an interesting stat.

I don't believe Jesus is the son of God until I see the long form birth certificate!
