Friday I made the first inquiries about establishing my mother's Canadian citizenship so I can have dual citizenship for myself. If I see the US go into a real death spiral I'll make for the border. It's about 6 hours away by car. My brothers, who went to Canada during the Vietnam war and are Canadian citizens, are helping me. This is a just in case, emergency strategy situation. I don't want to leave my close friends, I really don't, but I'll leave this country if this place becomes unbearable and hopeless. Otherwise, I'm staying and fighting this regime.

That's one of the saddest thing I've ever written.

I am really glad to hear that dance. Doesn't mean that you have to move but you have the option if you ever need to.

Hope for the best. Plan for the worst.

Not that Canada is the worst. I wouldn't mind living there.

@DonaldTrump, Patriotism is not honoring your flag no matter what your country/leader does. It's doing whatever it takes to make your country the best it can be as long as its not violent.
