The thingies denote the absolute value of the quantity between them.

|2| = 2
|-2| = 2

Here's one puzzle Smile

The equation 152 - 209 = 42 is wrong. By moving only TWO numerals, make the equation right.

Please clarify 'moving' - did you mean swapping?

Will it still have the same format: xxx - xxx = xx ?

New puzzle:

Prove it that a number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

Same goes for divisible by 9.

Here's a similar number puzzle, this time by just moving only ONE digit (no swapping Smile), make the equation correct.

232 - 126 = 403
