Suggest any songs to sing?
I decided I want to record myself singing properly, and with my family going off on holiday at the end of the week perfect opportunity. So I made a large collection of instrumental tracks.

(marked in red the ones I probably won't sing)
Accidently in Love - Counting Crows
The Living Daylights - Aha
I See You - Leona Lewis
Colours of the Wind - Vanessa Williams
February Song - Josh Groban
Fields of Gold - no idea
Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra
Carry You Home - James Blunt
Halleluja - John Cale
On My Way - Phil Collins
Can't Help Falling in Loves - Elvis Presley
Who Wants to Live forever - Queen
Mad World - Gary Jules
My Heart will go on - Celine Dion
The Riddle - Nik Kershaw
Look Through my Eyes - Phil Collins
Angels - Robbie Williams
If I Can Dream - Elvis Presley
The Cave - Mumford and Sons
Unchained Melody - The Righteous Brothers

So like, suggest any more?

I'm not sure what the technical term for my voice is, but it's pretty much just a little naturally higher than Elvis Presley. Idk what that is xD Actually the only voice type word I know is "tenor" and I still don't know what is means.

3 Libras by A Perfect Circle (although this a song I frequently sing)

"Red and Black"
"Do You Hear the People Sing?"
"Javert's Suicide"

I'm a Les Miz fan, in case you couldn't tell. Anyway, for what I imagine your voice to be like, you might do well as Marius or Enjolras ("Red and Black", "Do You Hear the People Sing?"). It's less likely that you'd be able to pull off "Javert's Suicide", but since I'm not sure of exactly where your voice falls, I figured I should give you an example of at least one part for someone with a deeper voice.

ETA: The real tune of "Red and Black" begins at about 2:00 in. "Javert's Suicide" starts at 1:45. The opening to it is one of the most memorable scenes in the play, but it's a duet, so you couldn't really do it on your own.

I believe Elvis would have been considered a baritone (Teddy Bear). Although he could reach tenor range (Battle Hymn of the Republic.)

Does that song even have a tune? xD

I once saw this on the west end. I think I was like 7 though xD
I have a feeling finding instrumental tracks wouldn't be too hard, but not sure if this works for solo singing. Will give them a go though Wink

I'm about in the range of Can't Help Falling in Love. At least that's where I feel the most natural. Can go higher and a little lower though.

3 Libras has a tune, then again I may be biased being furiously attracted to Maynard James Keenan. But it most certainly has a tune.

Here's one that you might be able to do. It's another one from Les Miz, but it's a solo piece, and I think it's in your range:

Ok I have a better suggestion, though it's a bit hard.

Since none of us know your range, tone or control, it is very hit and miss as to whether anything we suggest is applicable to you. Maybe some feedback on which tunes you find suitable will steer us in directions that bring more hit and less misses.
