I was going to suggest that perhaps the cartridge battery had expired, but you seem pretty certain at this point that your console has failed. Good luck with all that jazz. Nothing like original hardware, for sure.

I got it all sent in to the NES repair shop. Just waiting to hear back now. Fingers crossed that it comes back to me in working order. Lecture_preist
