Sussex County Delaware Lawsuit
The county I live in is subject to a lawsuit over prayer at council meetings. I hope it holds up but knowing the people that live here this will not be a popular thing.

Yes, but only as a last resort.

Hi, just curious, do such events happen in the United States very often? Seems chaotic there with such religion debate.

Which events? The public prayer or the law suits over it?

Actually, I guess it doesn't matter as the answer for both is "yes".

But why argue over such vapid issues? Aren't there other more pressing issues to be dealt with? Religion has its prime time in the past, now let reason take over, for the good of the world.

I love how they hide behind "tradition"... it's not a religious thing it is a traditional thing.

To set a precedent. Others are working on the other pressing issues.... We are legion and we can multitask.

I was reading the comments below the original article and I had a really strange experience. All the comments were sounded in my head in slow Texan drawl. Being British I have no idea what the accent is like in Delaware but I rather doubt that my brain had it right.
