TTA has taught me a bunch of stuff
I gotta say, since joining TTA almost three years ago (actually I think my third year anniversary is coming up in May) I've learned so much crap. Science was always my weak point but just reading posts in the Science forum has taught me stuff.

I know more about the Bible, Geography, politics, philosophy, music, logical fallacies and even a different way to peel a damned banana. Who woulda thunk it.

This place is the best. Thank you all you crazy atheists and even some of you wacky ass theists.

Thumbsup

Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

My daughter is in college majoring in, I donno what to call it.....ceramics? She want's to become a well known ceramic artist and have her own shop and stuff. Geez, we have so much of her pottery all over the house, half the garage is taken up by her pots and now a used potter's wheel she found somewhere. (That damned thing was so heavy.) We can't get our cars in the garage now so they sit out in the rain and her pottery is nice and dry in the garage. Rolleyes It's ok though, I don't mind it, really.

She has had a couple of showings of her work and goes to ceramics conventions. It's her life. She may never be rich but she sure is happy.

I know chinook Salmon and rainbow trout. Also catfish. I know a minnow when I see it............I think. Confused

Several of my brothers used to fish in the Sierra Nevada Mountains when I was a kid. That's where we lived. They'd all go out (I have 6 older brothers) and fish in the Upper Truckee river near Tahoe and bring home loads of fish so we had something to eat. Seems like all they caught was rainbow trout.
