There will ALWAYS be unemployment.

Last summer DOL stastics showed 4.5% unemployment for 4 year college educated professionals.

Right now, if we truly had 8%+ unemployment, i could make more money than Steve Jobs! We CANT FIND qualified candidates. Dont believe me, pick up the yellow pages and call some recruiting firms and ask for yourself.

Our Advertising budget this year is doubled and we are not getting an 1/8th of the people we need for jobs. I get tons of teachers and firemen applying to my engineering ads, but cant find qualifed professionals. Sadly..that dont sell ad space on CNN. If it bleeds it leads! Bad news is KING on all networks. Good news is not worth anything which is why you wont hear about the bedlam in employment at the moment.

Hmmm, that would cause me to take a second look too. Do you think Paul would have any influence as VP? I think that job would neuter him and his progressive agenda.

Anyway, Obama and Romney are both more centrist moderates than right or left. But I think Romney will swing more right than left and Obama more left than right. Obama is definitely not a socialist like many conservatives like to label him as.

Well, I know they are pretty close personal friends. Paul doesn't necessarily agree with Romney on many topics but I'm almost certain Romney would defeat Obama with Paul on the ticket. I'm not positive Paul as VP would have a substantial impact on Romney's policy but he would probably be a great advisor on how to deal with Congress. I think it'd be the smartest move Romney could make in his campaign. But I could also see him choosing Marco Rubio. That too would be a pretty strong pick in the eyes of republicans and right leaning independants.

YEAH>>......BUT...
I wonder if he goes bonkers in his 2nd term?? You know, he's got nothing to loose so go full hell bent liberal pro union anti gun. Do i think its possible? Remotely. But it could happen. What i would hate is 4 more years of stagnation. If obama stays, then the Party of NO (GOP majoritys) need to be balanced.

He's not a socialist...he's just a big spender. (here i go with the race card) And who said black people dont tip???? Hu? This guy is a huge tipper!!!! (sorry, i could not resist it).

Mitt scares me because he, like McCain, has no grasp of those that make a mere 5 million dollars or less. When he speaks of sports he's like "Yeah, i know the OWNER of that team" or "I do tennis with Bill Gates" type of comments. He's clearly OUT of touch with US and IN touch with bizillionaires. He's gonna look out for Big business in a way that's capitolism run amuk. Yes kiddies, capitolism can be a bad thing too when its left unchecked and given preference via the government.

Think about this....Paul/Palin ticket. That should make you squirm and ill.
Anything is possible!

Again, we agree to agree!!! Romney/Paul would be a huge problem for Obama.
Only way to turn that around is to go Obama/Clinton.

This COULD be a very intresting race.

What i like about both OBAMA and ROMNEY is that NEITHER will force some religoius voodoo agenda. I wish Obama was muslim, that would silence him even more about religion. He'd dare not say anything about it!

Either way, both candidates silence the Religious Reich on the national level, just gotta watch out for States running amok, like Tennessee!!!

RE: Tell me why you are voting for Obama.
if you studied austrian economics, you would know big business wouldn't be able to run foul because they would go bk like lehman brothers when they do bad. big business keeps running foul when goldman sachs gets a bailout, because government has preferences for them. knowing this, they will keep doing bad things, because they know they will be bailed out. its called MORAL HAZARD. google it. in true capitalism, when a business goes unchecked, as you say, and they do bad, they go broke with no bailouts. a better company comes in buys the assets and makes a better more profitable company. do this enough times with no government intervention and you have great companies. go away from that and you have the future US. i guess in your keynesian world no one should be responsible for their own actions. just print 1.6 trillion and pass it on to the taxpayers. keynesian economics is astrology. austrian econimics is astronomy. for those that dont know what moral hazard is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moral_hazard

Im no liberal, but if santscrotum wins, i might even vote for obama. i will just make sure and buy more gold when the dollar collapses!

I don't see Obama going full-blown liberal. His voting record in the senate doesn't even really support that if I remember correctly. He was always centrist, and it has been no surprise to me since he was elected that he's stayed that way.

I'd love to see an Obama/Clinton ticket. Clinton was who I voted for in the primaries in '08, and I think she would have done much better than Obama, especially on the social issues. But that might be where we part ways in agreement. She would have been a bigger win for liberals as she's a little more left than Obama. But too many people were captivated by Obama and didn't want another Clinton White House- even though Bill Clinton was a huge success economically.

I just don't see an Obama/Clinton ticket though- I heard she's not even coming back for next term if he gets re-elected.

RE: Tell me why you are voting for Obama.
The banks were held accountable, they had to pay 28 billion for the shitty mortgage practice they were taking part in. The auto industry and financial sector payed back every dime. You fail to understand the gravity of the situation. Capitalism is not the end all solution If those big businesses failed Our economy would have collapsed and so would the rest of the world's. It was the right move.

Satan has an opinion about everything and is an expert in nothing. You are wasting your time with him on this.
He's not given us a single clue as to his expertise or what makes him so qualifed to have SUCH an opinion on things. So he's just a poster on the enterwbz nothing more.

I've actually started liking Clinton since she became Secretary of State. I think she would be a good asset.
