Are there any liberal atheists in Texas?

There exists at least one.
This is a rough sketch that I'm working on.

I'm thinking about putting it on a shirt.
I don't know if I have the balls to wear it in public, but it passes the time.

lol that's scary. my stepdad is texan and he's christian. I think there are texan atheists but only a small number.

Hi. I'm Texan, living in the buckle of the bible belt. I'm not exactly liberal, or at least not with the big "L". I am a free thinker, open minded, aware, awake. I'm pacifist and a philosophical Buddhist. And I am in a bloody minority. I am, however, a proud Texan. I believe in the true principals of its founding, not the asshole attitudes and shit for brains bigoted notions of the idiots who run the state today.

Same here, I'm from Texas, and I'm researching atheism at the moment. Not quite a liberal. Not quite a conservative. I consider myself a Ron Paul supporter, so I guess that makes me a Libertarian.

And being from Texas, I'd wear your shirt just to piss people off. I carry, let someone pick a fight

Austin doesn't count. Austin may be physically located within Texas but Austin is not Texas. It's like a little oasis of sanity in the middle of the world's largest asylum.

I am from Texas... And as a Atheist I often wonder what Jesus would think about the multi-billion dollar mega churches sitting on every corner here. Damn... we could be exploring space... or better yet pay teachers to teach our kids.
