But maybe that's just me. My 15 pound bird has been in the fridge since Sunday night.

You keep your pets in the refrigerator ?

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

No, it's fine really and letting it thaw under refrigeration is the safest way since it never goes up into the 40*-140* bacterial danger zone.

Ok everybody. If you don't hear from me in a week you'll know the bird wasn't good and I'm spent the week worshipping the porcelain throne . Hobo But I haven't thrown up in 18 years and I'll be damned if I want to ruin such a long running streak eating a stupid bird so I may stick to eating the deserts, pie and cookies, cranberry sauce and maybe a salad. Perhaps my husband won't notice that I didn't eat any turkey. Laugh out load Yeah, fat chance. Tongue

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!Heart Angry

Chewy is probably closer to 15 ounces and Zeus is probably under 4 ounces. Even if I boiled them both I don't think I could get enough broth to make gravy. Tongue

"Stuffing your bird"

So then does that make foreplay "thawing the turkey"? Consider

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta
