Funny... I invariably read Comfort as "Cum fart". Dunno why. Tongue

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.

If there's not a Google Chrome add on that someone made to replace his name with that, I would be sad.

Need to think of a witty signature.

For those that may not know. It goes as follows.

If you're walking along the beach and you find a watch in the sand. You pick it up and you can see there is a complexity to it. And there fore know that there had to have been a creator. Ergo God.

He dose just that. He gives people a book say's look at all the pretty colors, and then asks "Could this book have poped out of of thin air. Or was there a creator?" and since DNA is the book of life that to can't have poped out of nothing there fore GOD.
Therefore gawd had a creator, but they have no problem with that exception. Rolleyes

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

RE: The Atheist Delusion
Apparently, Banana Ray Cumfart reached out to Hugo & Jake at The Bible Reloaded and all but demanded that they review his product... then tried all our usual fundy trolls' arguments: "You can't refute THIS!!"-type stuff.

They are still working on editing their coverage of Cumfart's work, and will post it soon... but in the meantime, they've posted this preview coverage of their coverage, while apparently very drunk and/or stoned. Laugh out load

RE: The Atheist Delusion
I personally enjoyed when he sent them the fruit basket after his DCMA shenanigans previously. I laughed so much at the post they showed from his Facebook. "I don't get why he thinks what we do takes only a day, or even a week" is a great line, drunk or not, and says a lot about content creation. Also sending the DVD out to more countries than exist?

Edit: TBR's review is up, starting with the drinking (including mixing an Irish car bomb).

RE: The Atheist Delusion
Live stream of thought as I watch:

Wow, I feel like I'm about to watch the BBC's Planet Earth from this set of of images. And now the Watchmaker argument based on a book being a book and there intelligently designed. Now the DNA being compared to the book because of out of context quotes about DNA being an instruction of book of life. I once again wish I could see the people who don't make it into the film, given the ones whom do. Or are these people just actors and actresses, as easily as they're won over by his arguments.

You're totally mischaracterizing Dawkins in this video by taking a clip out of context. Also is this just The Watchmaker Argument: The Movie? Now he's interviewing Krauss, who is flustered by the sheer idiocy being posed toward him by Comfort at the 15 minute mark. Still thinking the entire film is just the Watchmaker. Is Jurassic Park suing you yet? As you talk about DNA post Krauss interview, you sound like you're maybe one or two minor differences off from its music.

Are we seriously doing the "chicken or the egg" Ray? For fudge's sake Ray, you can't just say we're not made of stardust, because Adam. And "how do chickens see before they evolved eyes?" "How did stardust evolve eyes or lungs?" Facepalm "Did the air evolve?" "You don't see anyone with a half evolved leg or teeth, because God made it all finished". "Richard Dawkins is not an atheist, he's an idolater!" "Why are you still an atheist, did the book make itself?" And now we're talking about "fornication and pornography"? Where did that come from Ray? 30 minutes of 61 in at this point.

"The Bible says that we all have a fear of death." Citation please? Oh now he's pimping a book "Made in Heaven" to discuss manmade inventions that mimic nature. Now he's talking about a manmade wave using pre-existing water. This montage music is sounding like a flash game I played in high school that involved skiing down a hill. Ray, do you know the word abiogenesis? Why are you now mixing "species" and "kinds" since you were talking about "kinds" earlier? It's no coincidence that cows give us leather, milk, cheese, meat...and ice cream?

"have you ever heard of an atheistic tribe? They always worship the sun, a totem, or something. Because God gave light to every man." Actually Ray, yes, there was a documented atheistic tribe...

"Did you know the Bible predicts things science understood later?" And talks about washing hands, and how saying the world hangs on nothing is meaning that we're in space. Seriously, now you're going the morality route and asking if you think someone who kills your mother would deserve punishment and why do you think that? "If God is good, there must be a Hell to punish the wicked". Oh dear, now he's moving into his Way of the Master stuff.

"Are you Christian?" "I'm Catholic." "So you're not Born Again!" And thus enters Ray's Catholic bashing.

"Hayley, I'm not judging you but..." Way of the Master Commandment listing.

And Ray again finds people who somehow have never heard of Jesus Christ's death and Resurrection. And now I'm feeling like you're barely off the tune of some of Hans Zimmer's music.

Yes, this was Watchmaker Argument: The Movie, and filled in with generous amounts of The Way of the Master. Oh and you can go to the movie site and buy a 4 video session on how to reach atheists like Ray did in the movie.
