The Berenstein Bears
Just watched Angry Video Game Nerd's newest video where he noticed that it was actually spelled "Berenstain Bears". Here's an article on us living in a possible parallel universe. Funny shit.

I definitely remember it as stein. Not stain.

It may just be cultural. I recall this as well being said Stein not Stain.

Being from Jersey. I pronounce Mario as used in the Super Mario Brothers. (Mare-e-o.) My wife prenouces it (MAR-e-o) It's just how I always heard it. Pisses the shit out of her when I say it. Potato, Potato I guess. Tongue

Omg you're one of those people who say Mario that way. Dodgy

I was watching a documentary about Mario Cuomo and hearing everyone say his name made me want to punch someone in the face.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

RE: The Berenstein Bears
I think the reason all of us remember it as Stein and not Stain is that is how it is said in the cartoon show.
