I liked it quite a lot. It is less sweet and less fizzy than American soft drinks. I took a chilled bottle with me when golfing with my brother yesterday. Very refreshing.

How much does it cost there? I paid US$1.98 per bottle. Seemed a tad expensive.

It is fizzier than coke and all of their products anyway...

You can get a 500ml bottle of Irn Bru here for 69p in some shops. It can range from that up to £1.

What frankie said Big Grin.
The price seems to vary from shop to shop. The pub across from my college sells it for £1.95 for a 330ml can. Can't say i was impressed.

So I'm paying about £1.22 for a 500ml bottle; that's not so bad.

Considering its an import, that's a decent price.

I can buy that. Big Grin

I don't know how to describe the taste difference but it does a noticeably better job for me of thirst quenching. What do you prefer?

Also, since Dasani is a Coca Cola product, and I figure that those folks have to be world leaders in beverage science, I wonder if they're doing anything out of the ordinary to their product. AquaFina is probably my second choice, which is a PepsiCo product, so again it concerns me that they're putting something in this besides water. What do you think?

Bah! Dasani is just salt-water in a bottle. Just look at the "nutrition facts" and "ingredients". Water isn't supposed to contain nutrition or ingredients. It's frickin' water.

I prefer Deer Park, myself. The tap water where I live tastes like it is pumped from a local swimming pool (plus it gives me heartburn...I'm not sure water is supposed to do that...), so Deer Park is all I drink. It's crisp, it's smooth, it's clean, it's refreshing. I go through one of those big 12-packs every 2 or 3 days.
