A "non-profit prophet" being a guy who's only right once in a while, thus unworthy of a paycheck
Fuck money. Makes me the worst kind of prophet. A prophet is a rabble-rouser after all. To rise the rabble in the name of Gwyneth Paltrow? The advantage of a real God, I remain skeptical. Tongue

The apologists will probably cherry pick a few prophesies, declare a 100% success rate, and use that to "prove" that it is non-fiction.

Honestly, even if you believe God exists, there's no reason other than faith to trust the Bible. Of course, this is all circular. Apologists tend to try and break out of this circle with creative interpretation of prophesies (to keep the above-mentioned 100% track record) and creative history and archeology. If you only consider historical accounts that agree with the Bible, the Bible is always right about history!
